Ticking Away the Moments That Make Up a Full Day

Sixteen hours!  In one day!

Yep, that's right.  My day began on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m.  It ended at 12:30 a.m. Saturday.  The airline reservations were confirmed at 12:15 a.m.  This is how work weeks creep above 60 hours.  With early mornings (like Tuesday at 7:30) and late nights (like tonight).

I'm about to do an impression of a bear during winter.  My cave-bed is calling.  There's nothing on my calendar until church on Sunday morning.  Of course, there's always the Sunday 5:00 p.m. service.  It would allow for several more hours of hibernation.

  1. Oh, wow.. and what a stressful week! Makes ya kinda wish for a furlough, doesn't it?lol Hope you're not overdoing it too much.. Get some rest, girl!!

  2. I don't know how you do it.

  3. Sounds like the furlough idea may have worked for you. But, then again, you probably would have been "called in" (at no pay) for some emergency.

  4. @Laoch, It is.

    @Jean, Stress? What's that? Hahaha!

    @Gail, Chocolate. The darker the better.

    @Dave, I was going to volunteer to be furloughed. But the boss claims I'm essential. Given our mind-boggling hours, I'd take the time off without pay if I could.
