To the Point

The house is full.  My eldest baby is home from college.  All is right with the world.  Now if only the rear defroster on my car and the water line in the refrigerator would work, everything would be perfect.

  1. Oh no! The refrigerator water line? Omg. Of all times! Are you or were you planning on cooking the entire Thanksgiving meal? Found a repairman in the nick of time? Oh my lord, I'm in a panic over here. I'm coming back later in case you answer. Whew, what a time for all of that to happen. I'd send my own turkey to you, but given the time, it would never make it....and unfortunately, turkeys don't fly, lol. Picture it. Sorry.

  3. Oh good I'm so glad, I thought you might be phoning to cancel me, I'm packing my suitcase now, that Jenny D never took me up on my gatecrashing suggestion. I'll make an American Thanksgiving somehow. :-))

  4. @Arlene, We were at Vindolanda and Hadrian's Wall for our Independence Day. It'll be nice to be here for one of our American holidays. I'm reminded of Anthony Hopkins's attempt at Thanksgiving for Debra Winger in Shadowlands. Cranberries seemed so foreign to him.
